The constriction between the two diameters is a gentle taper which helps to eliminate lead shearing and sizes the bullet concentrically. Saeco Lube and Sizer dies have a mirror like finish and a sizing hole that is perfectly round. Once run through the die bullets will look like they were polished silver with no lead shavings.
