Description: LONG WAVE UV Hefty specimen of bright fluorescing Ruby crystals in a green Fuchsite Mica along with minor blue Kyanite. Its a metamorphic rock called Schist. This sample is surface collected and un-broken, I usually break these to see a clean fresh surface but not this one. The Corundum fluoresces an intense bright cherry red under long wave UV light which my camera and software could not capture accurately (it is more cherry red than images). Use a Convoy S2 filtered LED UV like I did to see it at its best. 480 grams. 5" length. I do combine shipping with other items.
