Description: This is a stunning cut and polished fossil coral multiblock which has both coral heads and cross sections visible. It was collected many years ago and recently polished by Stone Treasures. It is well preserved and has good colour and calcite formation. It is a British found fossil, but unsure on exact location. This is also known as frosterly marble which has been used in the past for decoration in churches, e.g. Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire and also cathedrals e.g. Newcastle. This has been beautifully polished so would be a great addition to any collection or as a gift. Size is approx 21.5cm x 12.5cm x 4cm (widest points).
