Description: Rare Antique 1923 Max Roesler Germany Reticulated Earthenware Bowl - Green & White. After doing some research, I learned that this “RMR Roesler” pottery mark was used in 1923 (1 year after Max’s passing) before the company began using the “RMD Roesler” mark under new ownership. The piece is primarily white & green with a lovely painting of a bird eating grapes off of the vine in the center of the bowl. It is in very good condition - no chips - although there is some crazing as well as a few spots where the green paint has flaked off (photographed).
