Description: “Prince” Naseem Hamed, a.k.a. “NAZ,” is in the International Boxing Hall of Fame and is - arguably - the greatest British boxer of all time. He fought from 1992 to 2002 and many of those fights could be seen on Home Box Office (HBO), the American premium television network. This auction is for a unique punching puppet toy distributed to promote those fights and never made available commercially. The puppet, bearing a likeness of NAZ, has levers inside, which, when activated, allow you to throw power punches and jabs just like the Prince himself. Or so it would seem. He’s never been out of the original package, so we only know what we read on the label! This is being sold as a piece of boxing memorabilia, and not as a functional toy, although we’re pretty sure it works. Puppet measures approximately nine inches tall. NAZ wears a leopard pattern “robe” with HBO “Heart and Soul of Boxing” logo. Boxing “gloves” appear to be plastic. There’s a printed paper header with dynamic images of Hamed. It’s in very good condition and is attached to a clear plastic bag containing the puppet. Nobody likes to pay shipping, including us. Shipping is via United Parcel Service (UPS) and the actual cost is calculated at the time of payment and paid by the buyer. All items are packed in such a way as to ensure their safe arrival.
