Description: PRE-WWI FRENCH GRAS MODEL 1874 SWORD BAYONET & SCABBARD dated 1874(?) ANTIQUE Blade is very nice shape with only some minor pitting. Hand guard and scabbard have some rust. The retention bolt does not appear original (hex head(?) and we believe the original bolted direct into hand guard). The grips are original. One small wood chip missing near the bottom (see pic). The release button functions. We don’t speak French, so if you can tell us the manufacturer’s name from the back of the blade….that would be awesome!
