Description: Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 Serial Number: 4L614876888 The Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 has numerous improvements over the original model. Visually, there are two major differences - rear strap lugs and a tripod socket (bottom) were added to the Alpha 1. Improvements were also made to the electronics, shutter and the open/fold mechanism. It is reported that in general, Polaroid used better quality materials in different areas of the Alpha 1’s construction. This particular example is in very nice condition but please review all the photos as they are part of the description. Chrome surfaces all look great. Viewfinder is clean and clear. Comes with the original ever-ready case which is also in very nice condition. Camera was film-tested with a new pack of Polaroid film. Results were great and the exposure compensation dial is working properly. Flash socket was not tested. Not sure if the film counter is working - I don’t think they work with the new film packs that have 8 frames.
