This Mali hardwood djembe is crafted by expert carvers using specialty selected woods, finished with top-rate skin and rope, always with the rings tight and tension even. PACKAGING AND INSERTS The heavier and larger a package, the more it costs to ship. We prefer to reduce shipping costs as much as possible, so we take advantage of light weight packaging and packing materials. DAMAGE OR DEFECT If the return is due to damage or defect upon arrival notify us within 3 days of arrival, and we will replace or refund the item upon proof of damage. PERSONAL PREFERENCE If the return is based on dislike of color, size, or sound, or misunderstanding of item description, you may return the product to our warehouse at your expense, and upon receipt of item in new condition, we will refund the purchase price less the cost of outbound shipping (in the case of free outbound shipping). NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS We cannot offer returns on goat and cow skins used as replacement drum heads once they have been soaked in water or installed on a drum. Once a drum has been tuned by applying additional tension the drum head warranty may be voided, based on seller's discretion. Hint: Do not overtune your drum by applying too much tension too quickly!
