Description: Original WWII Japanese Type 30 Bayonet & Scabbard, Kokura Arsenal WW2.Bright finish, straight quillon bayonet in excellent, used condition with scabbard. Mark at base of blade indicates Kokura arsenal. I couldn’t identify the series kana, but the serial number is 57470.Working button, tight and solid as seen in the photos. Blade is quite nice, does not appear to have been sharpened much at all. No nicks to edge or other damage. Pommel end is also crisp and undamaged.Ball tipped scabbard has some surface rust, and some deformation at the tip (see photos)… does not impede the blade, it slides in completely.Bayonet with scabbard weighs about 1.5 lbs, blade measures 15.675” long, bayonet is 20.125” overall.Ask questions if you have them.
