Description: A few months ago, I went to the estate sale of a guy that owned a race-prep shop in Locust Valley, Long Island, NY. His shop stabled cars in all kinds of classes and different motor sports for rich hobbyists who merely showed up at a track, donned their racing suit, jumped into their tuned and ready race car and ran. He stabled IMSA, Formula Ford, Formula Atlantic and Vintage Classic racecars. During the week, the shop would repair, tune and transport the cars to be ready for the next race, sometimes on the other side of the country, Canada or Mexico. Up in the attic, I found a rack of souvenir shirts from all over that had been there since no later than the early 1990's. Unfortunately, some had been ruined from improper storage, and the family wanted to keep all the ones with his name embroidered on them, so that only left me a few. THIS is one of them. It's a 1980's TOMMY HILFIGER/FERRARI EXTRA-LARGE SHORT SLEEVE SHIRT with it's ORIGINAL PRICE TAGS. It has some yellowing on one shoulder where it was exposed to the NY summer heat and winter cold and there's a stain of some type on the back.
