The stylish and edgy evening clutch/bag is made from stainless steel fine silk-like wire mesh over industrial hard mesh wire, the layers creating a stunning moire effect. Various techniques such as ultrasound, temperature and pressure treatments are used to create this beautiful effect. The exquisite clutch features a chrome frame and red and black snakeskin detailing and is accented with the studio logo on the side. The interior is lined with black velveteen. The elegant clutch comes with a silver shoulder strap that can optionally be attached to the rings outside the clutch. Each bag is unique and may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of each piece. Bo’s Art studio creates amazing pieces of wearable art and special couture pieces sold at museums. These party/cocktail and formal evening handbags/clutches are most certainly a conversation piece and I doubt you will find anyone who has one, that’s how rare they are.The artists no longer produce this style. The closest purse I could find from their website is $380 new. Designed by a Polish husband and wife team (both artists and designers in their own right) in their Los Angeles studio, all work from design to the finishing touches is done by the two of them. Stainless steel wire mesh is a highly industrial material and to adapt it to make delicate handbags was not easy. For months, Boguckis experimented with this demanding material, learning its behavior and properties. After several years of exploring, they are still fascinated by the material which brings them joy and creative satisfaction. This handbag comes from a pet-free, smoke-free environment.
