Description: For your consideration is a fine sterling silver Mint Julep Cup made by J.E. Caldwell, Philadelphia, circa mid-20th Century. Great tapering form and heavy gauge silver to this Piece. Nice Reeded bands encircle the Top and Bottom of this Cup, and it has a neat enameled Merion Cricket Club plaque with the club’s Crest on it. Engraved “MERION CRICKET CLUB GRASS COURT CHAMPIONSHIP 1950 MEN’S DOUBLES RUNNERS UP WM. COTHIER, 11 WM. VOGT”. The Cup is in very good lightly used condition - it has 1 tiny micro ding -barely noticeable (see photo #10). Enamel “MERION CRICKET CLUB 1865 “ Plaque is fully intact. Marked: “STERLING J.E.
