Description: You rarely find this Butterfly Fan Vase with such exceptionally defined detail. This one has not only a very sharp mold impression, but also a thick glossy glaze in the prized, less common coral color. (See HNH Vol. I at p. 96 and Vol. II at p. 58, noting coral is the rarest color.) Dates from the early 1940s. Appears never to have been used (see photos). Entirely free of damage: gentle crazing throughout, consistent with its age and the thick, high-gloss glaze. Stands about 9" tall. This offering is part of our slow-motion estate sale -- Mother collected McCoy for about 40 years, with all periods represented in her vast collection, so let us know if you are looking for a particular McCoy piece.
