Description: Original Madeline Tosh Pashmina WORSTED, from before Jimmy Bean bought them! This weight has been DISCONTINUED and this appears to be the LAST STOCK of it out there. There's lots of sportweight out there because they're still making it, but this is heavier and richer and oh so yummy! Pashmina Worsted is a 4-ply yarn: a sumptuous soft blend of 75% merino wool, 15% silk and 10% cashmere. It is unbelievably soft and springy. The yarn was hand-dyed in small dye lots and works up to create a soft fabric with great drape. This yarn is the heavier weight version of their lighter weight Pashmina bases. It is a similar fiber blend to the infamous woven pashmina scarves.
