Description: This is a group of the earliest of the Welch's promotional cartoon juice glasses. All feature Howdy Doody and characters from his tv show. Pre-owned, excellent condition with bright graphics. Included are:Kagran copyright - 4 3/8" tall - I think it is from 1950. Yellow and white graphics 'Drinking grape juice is seal's favorite act.'The next 4 are all from the same 1953 series with musical notes at the top. Each has a different saying and each is a different color. Green - 'Hey kids wherever we eat Welch's is our favorite treat.' Red - 'Hey kids on land or sea Welch's tastes best we all agree.' Yellow - 'Hey kids what a shot just like Welch's it hits the spot.' Blue - 'Hey kids Come on along your Welch's sure helps make you strong.' All are 4 1/4" tall.
