Hinges and bindings are square and tight, no loose pages. Text is clean, no writing, printed on high quality, specially-made paper. Oval illustrations scattered throughout. Slipcases have paste-on labels, original cream color and red lining are significantly toned and faded. Slipcases have some bumped corners, edgewear (particularly the Tennyson, which is frayed on one edges) and fraying at the opening edges. Both slipcases have some darkened shadows on the rear sides. Blake: 5" x 8.25" 57 p. Inside front cover has a penned name.Tennyson 5.75" x 9.5" 109 p. Inside front cover has a penned name. Peter Pauper Press is a fine press that began publishing in 1928. These two items have no dates, a guesstimate is 1960s. These are lovely editions of the two poets' well-known favorites.
