Weighing over 12 pounds (5.5 Kg) this gorgeous piece exhibits vivid pink coloration due to the hematite (iron) present during the formation of the quartz when it was crystallized. Unique in color and formation, this spectacular amethyst will be an amazing addition to your collection or a centerpiece of your house decoration. This piece also exhibits some wonderful pockets of sparkly drusy pink crystals and some small areas closer to the purple color of most regular amethyst. Simply stunning play of colors and sparkling crystals make this a real conversation piece and decorator's delight.
