Jean Voigt (1940- 1996 ) Danish fashion designer, scenographer and visual artist. Jean Voigt was the son of master tailor and elder Holger Voigt-Petersen and ballet dancer Gutvig Off . He is known for his creations for ballet and theatre. Jean Voigt was trained as a tailor and worked as a young man at Balenciaga and Pierre Cardin in Paris. In 1967 he became a student of the surrealist painter Samuel de Castro at the same time as he studied theater history. In the 70s, he created his own fashion house in Copenhagen.
