Description: This listing is for an original Jay "Springer" Springsteen AMA motorcycle racing number plate that he signed. I acquired this in a storage locker auction of a former SCCA employee that had a huge car racing collection, that although was mostly cars they also deviated into motorcycle racing. I am unsure how they acquired this piece, but I am assuming after a race he signed it and gave it to them. My best guess is by running races for SCCA they also were used for motorcycle races and was maybe working the event. Either way this is a very cool & rare piece of AMA racing history.
