I believe the light source was manufactured in 2021 according to the tag on the back. The adjustable headband is a 3 point padded design for stability. The light head tilts, raise, lower and have variable spot adjustment. Has the extra long linkage between the headlight module and headset so surgical loupes can be used. The fiber optic cable is new with no visible broken fibers. The light source has an intensity adjustments, standby and LCD display to show brightness, lamp age and software version 2.0.2. Uses one xenon lamp which is working. The turret has cable ports for Olympus, Storz, ACMI and Wolf cables. This system looks great with some sign of normal use and no damage. The light source has a few cosmetic scratches but no actual damage (see pics). The lamp only has 89 hours of use on a 1000 hour lamp but actual lamp age is unknown and unwarranted. The console has 5054 hours according to the run meter. (I have seen several MLX light sources with 10,000+ hours and still running strong!) The Ultralite Pro headset is very nice and working properly. The fiberoptic cable has only a couple broken fibers and nowhere close to needing replaced. The sweatband pads in the headset are good. The light source cooling fan, standby mode and intensity adjustments are working properly. Age The MLX light source has a factory inspection tag dated 2021 Ultralite Pro is a current model but DOM is unknown Fiberoptic cable age is unknown.
