Description: This is a Figured GONCALO ALVES (astronium fracinifolium) back and side set for building an acoustic guitar. Sometimes called tigerwood, this wood has tonal qualities that are between rosewood and Koa.Finishes very nicely, this is a closed pored wood. Silky smooth texture. Bends well and holds its shape. I really enjoy building with this wood and have had outstanding results. The measurements are as follows: back boards (each half)- 8.5" x 21.5" x .130+"thick. The sides(each half) 5" x 32.5" x .130+". All of my guitar sets are properly dried and seasoned and ready for sanding. Bid with Confidence! Sanding service is $20 per set.
