Item Description GUILD DV-52NT (1977) 1997s DV-52NTDV-52 is a model produced from 1992 to 1998 at the Westerly Rhode Island factory, which manufactured Guild guitars for over 30 years from 1966 before Guild was acquired by Fender. This is the final model made. It is the successor model of the high-spec D-50. Unlike the Guild guitars of yesteryear, it features a tapered head design. Body top is spruce, sides and back are rosewood, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge. Equipped with Grover 102G Rotomatic tuner. The gold plating becomes dull over time. It has been about 25 years since it was new, so the top of the body is discolored, and there are many pick scratches, scratches, and pot scratches from playing, and there are also cracks in the binding due to age. There are no major scratches or cracks on the board. There is a trace of the fingerboard peeling off once from the 1st to 4th frets, but it has been repaired with adhesive, so there is no problem with practical use. There are no noticeable scratches or cracks on the side or back of the body. The back of the neck has a scratch the size of a grain of rice on the back of the 7th fret, but it does not impair playability. The fingerboard surface is also beautiful. The string height is 2.6 mm for the 6th string and 1.8 mm for the 1st string above the 12th fret, making it easy to play. The clear coat on the top of the head has become slightly cloudy due to age.
