Description: Antique scarce Gorham 1892 sterling silver .925, gold wash, figural American actress souvenir spoon of Rose Coghlan. In 1892, Gorham issued a set of fifteen actress spoons for the Actor's Fund Fair held that same year in New York City. Production was limited to 250 sets. Each spoon featured a dimensional bust of a famous stage actress & included a facsimile of her signature. The spoon is NOT monogrammed, is marked with the Gorham Lion Anchor G mark Sterling, measures approximately 4 1/2 inches long, & weighs .420 ozt. The spoon is in good antique estate condition; NO DENTS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS WORN WASH & WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE & NORMAL USAGE.
