Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Gorgeous Antique Silver Plate Epergne Centerpiece with 3 Removable Bowls – Mottahedeh This is a rare & unusual silver plate epergne from the Mottahedeh Company that was began in the US by Persian immigrants in the early 1900’s. It is a multi-functional piece that our Mother used as a silver plate floral centerpiece with a large silver plate bowl & 2 side bowls. It can also become a gleaming serving dish with the center dish used for an entrée & 2 sides dishes for vegetables. Its presence sparkles & glimmers anyway it is used. The base is unique, composed of a circle of silver plate held by 4 ornately carved silver plate legs that leads up to a single large oval silver plate dish with 2 smaller silver plate bowls flanking it. In our photos we are first using it as a floral centerpiece for our Thanksgiving flowers & greeting our guests. Then we are using it as a serving dish to hold various foods. The base is 18 inches wide & 7 inches tall. The largest bowl is 11 inches long by 9 inches wide; the 2 side dishes are 8 inches by 6 inches. All are 3 inches deep. We believe this to be an incredibly special piece!
