It is not white, but just a brighter tone of brass and it will age back to a darker color again over time. Our photos show this. Other than that, this is an awesome and large Irvine & Jachens cowboy buckle that we believe is from Utah, USA. There is a Cow Country Junior Rodeo that is still held annually in Utah. The buckle measures about 4 1/4” x 2 1/2”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide, and weighs about 4-5 ounces.
