Description: This handheld wheel generates thousands of creative writing ideas, exercises, prompts. Great for classrooms, writing groups, and anyone who wants to write but had no idea where to begin. The photos give you some sample writing ideas. Basically there are 3 wheels. Turn the outside one for 3 (or more) words to use in a story. Then turn the middle wheel to get a starting phrase to begin your story. Last, turn the center wheel for a setting where your story will take place. Here’s an example. Three words: burp, giraffe, zipper. Starter; The sticky feel of…. Setting: during a war. Set a timer for ten minutes- or vow to fill a page- and then write!!! Doing this daily will lead to a prolific writing practice and who knows what else. These days I am a caregiver for my mom and stepdad.
