Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Gary Miles With The Statues titled "Dream Girl b/w Wishing Well", originally released in 1960 by Liberty Records. I bought this single used, professionaly cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then it was put into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. In the dead wax between the labels and the last track is etched "R", followed by the matrix numbers A-1/A-1, indicating that the first stampers were used to make this record at RCA's pressing plant, located in Rockaway, New Jersey. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record between Good Plus and Very Good because of occasional pops and ticking, alon with low level surface noise, none of which over-powers the vocals or the music. It plays all the way through without any lock-ups or skips from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Rockaway pressing.
