Description: A fine cherry hand carved bonnet top two part highboy with split swan’s neck pediment with carved rosette decoration, adorned with three urn form finials surmounting an upper case with three small fitted top drawers, the center with fan carving, over five graduated long drawers, over a lower case with two additional long drawers, all featuring replaced batwing brasses, and a cyma carved apron, chamfered drawer bottoms and wide back boards, all supported by four nicely carved bandy legs. This highboy with Vermont provenance is in very good condition, with significant restorations, refinished surface, minor imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use.
