They are able to achieve an ultra-high output and powerful low-end response while retaining clean, clear tone at lower volume levels. The bridge pickup has been overwound with plain enamel magnet wire, providing a strong tone, while the neck and middle pickups have been underwound with heavy formvar magnet wire for a more traditional voice. The Cutlass HT’s electronics package also includes a push-push adjustable 20dB boost function and a transparent buffered output for complete tonal consistency, wherever your volume control is set.
