Description: Up for sale is an early large 37" x 12" folk named dated 1849 Primitive large wooden Kraut Cutter. I can't really make out the name that is engraved on the back. Hand writing looks German. This thing must be like the Holy Grail of Kraut Cutters. This is the most awesome Kraut Cutter I've ever seen. The slide is super smooth. Unfortunately, the blades look like they have some wear. It might still cut ok, but you might want to consider maybe trying to replace the blades. It weighs over 20lbs This thing is well built.
