Description: The big red version with the textured finish. This one is in excellent shape, which is rare as they are usually well-used. This one worked when I got it, but like all of these Shin-Ei circuits the dozen 10uf caps were not in great shape. All 12 tested between 80% and 125% above value, and since many of them are in the signal path they muddied the fuzzy waters. I re-capped with high-end Nichicon caps and now it sounds stunning. All the wonderful smooth fuzziness with that sweet octave-up treble boost you look for in these. Other than the caps this puppy is all original. Has the original battery door, and the large footswitch pad has not been knocked askew (as can happen after years of heavy stomping). There's nothing like a Super Fuzz.
