Description: A manicure tool from the 1920s was paired with a vintage brass dollhouse oil lantern to make this great little tamper. When repurposing century old items, the success of the final product is always a bit of a gamble. Sometimes the tampers and pipes work out great, and other times...well I have a bowl of personal tampers that just didn't come out quite as nice as I had hoped. And every so often, a repurposed tamper just nails it... This smoking tool lies perfectly in the hand, is wonderfully balanced and looks amazing. I got lucky with this one. A bit of patina and wear on the simulated horn handle...but remind yourself that it's four generations old. Thanks for looking... ...
