Description: 1948 Packard Eight Convertible Master-Caster promo WINDSHIELD ONLY (Early-to-mid 1948 promotional year) This type of windshield was offered with the Master Caster Packard from the early-to-mid 1948 promotional year. It is made of flimsy cellulose plastic that tends to warp, just like the original. I offer the later version in a separate listing. Hand-made from an original template. Each windshield is made of the same plastic of the era (1940's or 50's) and ready to install on your late 1948 Packard Eight Master Caster promotional model. The one you receive will be similar to those you see in the photos. The last 4 photos are to show you how it would look on the model. The model car is NOT INCLUDED. You get an item similar to what you see in the photos minus my ruler and the '48 Packard model. NOTE: Each windshield is hand made and may require a bit of adjustment or trimming on your part to fit your model. I will consider offers for TWO, or more. NOTE: Your item will be placed into the US Postal Service (USPS) mail within 48 hours from the receipt of your payment (unless otherwise noted). However, if your item requires UPS, FedEX, or any other venue for shipment, it may take a few more days to go into the shipping system because I must physically take the package to a drop-off point. I get out of the house about twice a week. So, your item will surely be shipped within 3 to 4 days of receipt of payment. Thanks for understanding. NOTE: If this sale is for a model car, truck or vehicle: Please remember that sometimes parts fall off during shipment. So, when you receive your package, please be sure to inspect inside the box. I pack very well with tissue paper, bubble wrap and styrofome peanuts when needed. Rest assured that I have ample experience with proper and safe packing for shipment and will use the right size box and packing materials. FOR EXAMPLE: I will NEVER use bubble wrap as the first barrier against PLASTIC!!! I will usually wrap the model in TISSUE PAPER FIRST; followed by bubble wrap. (Don't you hate it when you receive a plastic cellulose acetate model that was made prior to the 60's with bubble wrap imprints on it? I do. Therefore, I will never do that to my customers.)
