Description: This lovely photo is of a young child in a white gown and a woman in a long tight skirt and a white blouse with an unusual dark net and lace overlay. The clothing and the art nouveau design on the front of the folder date it to the early 1900's. In pencil on the back of the cover is "Mrs. Merchant Carpenter's child". The embossed photographer's name is Charles hart with no location given. The photo was tucked in the pages of an album in which most of the identified photos had the name Dominick. The studios were mostly in Newberry, South Carolina and Agusta or Columbia, Georgia. The photo is in good condition. The folder is 4 1/2 by 7 1/4 inches, and the photo 3 by 5 inches.
