We had a devil of a time finding a source for them and they are expensive. Forend washers are sometimes handy for getting the best fit on your forend. For example, if a forend screw bottoms out before the forend is fully tight, you can simply add 1-2 of these washers as spacers so that the screw can get tight before it bottoms out.
