Description: Welcome to my ebay store From an eldery doll collector friend comes this piece of her doll room decor. A lovely reproduction of a Meissen piece, featuring a dancing couple in 18th C /19th C attire. her skirt, his clothing trim is the porcelain lace referred to in the gold mark on base. This piece is bone china, most likely 1940s to mid 20th c and higher quality than a similar style of figures made in Wales ( I have seen similar pieces with a wales sticker) but lower detailed and quality. Unknown mystery raised white crossed sword mark a definite hat tip to MEISSEN crossed sword marks. The figure stands 8.5 " high on the oval decorative base by 4.5 " wide. Really pretty piece with nice painting and a quite more affordable messein style porcelain figurine for your boudoir, doll room, or any room. See all photos, excellent condition.
