Description: Add some color to your basket with a beautiful set of olive egger/Black copper maran hatching eggs. The chicks will all be first generation stock and will lay EITHER olive colored eggs OR pure bred black copper maran. If pure bred BCM, you can expect the hens that hatch from these eggs to lay dark reddish brown eggs (such as the ones pictured). If fertilized by my other roo which carries the gene for blue eggs, you can expect olive eggers. Since I have two roosters currently mixed in with my flock, I cannot guarantee which rooster fertilized which eggs. Either way, you can expect an excellent fertility rate; my eggs have had very high hatching rates both in incubators and under my broodie hens. This listing is for ONE DOZEN eggs. I always include extras because I like happy customers :) Eggs will be shipped priority USPS mail carefully wrapped and laid within 24 -48 hours of shipping. Upon receiving the hatching eggs, they should be placed pointy side down for 24-48 hours to settle prior to setting them in the incubator or under your broody. Calculated shipping so you’re not getting gouged on price (at least not by me). I prefer to ship on Monday through Thursday to minimize days spent in the postal system. Hatch rates cannot be guaranteed although I am happy to give tips for incubating success! Shipping eggs does decrease the overall hatch rate and for this reason, I try to include at least a couple extra eggs with each order. Happy Hatching!
