Description: Delinieres Limoges Green & Gold Scrollwork Chocolate Cup & saucer C. 1894 - 1900 Pretty porcelain chocolate cup and saucer. Nicely decorated with light green along the edge fading into white, with gold gilt scrollwork overlay. Gold gilding to the handle of the cup. Marked on the bottom D & Co France in green. This mark was used by Delinieres & Co between 1894 and 1900. Also marked R. Delinieres & Cie Limoges in red. This is an overglaze decorating mark used in Limoges France between 1894 and 1900. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 3 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the displayof the piece. GR
