Description: D.E. MCNICOL EAST LIVERPOOL OHIO Child's Heavy Pottery Bowl Or Porridger, A 1920s Antique. Cream colored bowl with a garden scene of two cats and a little dog encountering a box turtle. 7-3/16 inches in diameter at the outer edge. This baby's or child's porridge bowl has seen heavy use. The colorful decorative scene is partially worn off. There is crazing seen on both the front and back of the bowl. There some rust marks, scratches and other marks and other surface discolorations indicate that the bowl was used for more than one child. The bowl still has a shiny glossy finish. The D.E. McNicol pottery mark on the bottom of the bowl is in blue. Please refer to the photos to see the condition of this bowl. Owned by one family for a century; stored in non-smoking environment. Please look closely at the photos and contact me with any questions.
