Description: This fabulous conga was apparently custom made (or owned by) by B.D. drums of Olympia, WA. I believe the company is no longer in business. There is a crack in the barrel below the bottom band and controlled by it. It has occurred between the staves. I believe it can be glued by someone who knows how to do that. I am not qualified to attempt it. The construction is high quality; the metal stand bears a tag that partially reads "Made in Tha..." (Thailand?) the metal ring and attachments appear handmade (different from others seen on similar drums). The drum has an 11" skin head; it is 31" measured around the curve of the drum. The stand adds another 8.5" in height. I tried to add video so you could hear the tone but haven't figured out how to do that.
