Christmas Seals - 1930’s, 1940's, 1950's, 1960's , 1970s

Description: This is a great opportunity to own a large lot of Christmas seals from the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Approximately 1500+ stamps. Unhinged. Mostly mint. Some of the stamps are slightly curled from storage. Additionally, the 1939 and 1943 stamps have become lightly glued to the other stamp backings in their sheet and as such I have not counted them towards total. I am not a stamp expert so please review the photos and ask questions. Christmas seals are adhesive labels that are similar in appearance to postage stamps that are sold then affixed to mail during the Christmas season to raise funds and awareness for charitable programs. Christmas seals have become particularly associated with lung diseases such as tuberculosis, and with child welfare in general. The seals are ungraded and uncertified, but they are overall in mint quality and have never been hinged. I have not cleaned this item aside from a light dust off. Light soiling, dust, old age toning, dents, paint loss could be present along with other minor wear consistent with age.
