The image is a posed study showing a gentleman who is dressed for an evening out receiving instructions from his lady. Anyone with an interest in the history of photography and genre stereoviews in particular should get a copy of Denis Pellerin and Brian May's excellent book 'The Poor Man's Picture Gallery.' This is one of a series of photographic images currently listed which may have interest to collectors of early photography. Overall it is in good condition with colour tinting but there will be marks / fading / spotting.
