Description: For sale is an outstanding GORHAM Sterling silver commemorative chalice. The goblet is dated 1864 and was given to a grandson as a memorial gift at her death. The name is Mary A. Williamson and it was left to Harry M Williamson on April 29th, 1864. This is a stunning piece of art and religious faith. The goblet stands 9.5 x 3.5 inches tall and weighs approximately 449 grams. There is a small ding and rough area on the bowl of the chalice, not sure if there was a repair or if it was always like that. Please look at the pictures, the last two of the chalice. No other known issues. Sterling doesn’t get any more elaborate than this. I did a little research on line and the last picture is a picture I found of Mary A Williamson on line. The chalice came from a very important estate here in North east Arkansas. Hope you love it.
