Scoring astonishing success with their debut recording, "Too Old to Cut the Mustard" (#6, 1952) - an old country saying remembered from his father - this was followed swiftly by the much-covered "No Help Wanted" (#1, 1953), "Knothole" (#3, 1953), "Is Zat You, Myrtle?" (#2, 1953), "Tain't Nice (To Talk Like That)" (#5, 1954), "Shake-A-Leg" (#15, 1954) and "Honey Love" (#12, 1954).
