An superb original mezzotint etching which has retained its colour, bright and unfaded, in black ink with fine detail, plate toning and velvet textures, the image measuring approximately 35 cm x 12 cm (14 x 4½ ins.) within a strong impression and platemark, on a chine colle applique paper sheet measuring 46 cm x 26 cm (18 x 10 ins.) Signed in pencil by the artist in the lower margin, with a 'Printsellers Proof' embossed blindstamp.
