Please excuse any glare in the photos. This painting depicts a California landscape of trees on a hillside, with rustic fencing. The unframed painting is sandwiched in between a mat board and a backing of foam core board, so I can not measure the exact size of the paper on which the paper was executed. The exterior mat board measurements are about 11 inches by 14 inches. The sight area within the mat borders is approximately 7 9/16 inches by 9 7/16 inches. Unpacked, this item weighs 4.0 ounces. This would be a nice addition to a collection of fine art. Identification This painting is by an unknown artist. The name at the lower left has a first initial "S" and the last name may begin with a Y. The age of this piece is not known. Condition This matted but unframed painting looks great overall, as shown. Since the paper on which the painting was executed is sandwiched between the mat and the backing, I am not able to examine its edges. There are no visible rips, stains, or holes.
