About 1200 were from Portland. They were nicknamed “Portland Boys of 98”. The directory has two purposes. First to help veterans locate on another if wanted. The second is to inform the public who they were and what their occupations were after their return. 6 ¾” x 8 ½” and about 100 or so pages. Held together with silver metal brads. The covers have pulled loose from the front. The back is still secure. Some cover wear and soiling. Mild general wear internally.
