The reverse of the banknote bears the monument of Vasil Levski in Sophia. A pistol, a cross, and a dagger on a book are also featured. The 149 x 74 mm paper banknote has a solid security thread with a demetallized Bulgarian text. It also has a watermark that reflects Vasil Levski. Furthermore, the note is printed by Giesecke & Devrient and bears the signatures of Vulchev and Ivanov.
