This part was developed for Persian, Wool and other delicate carpets. It has only two rows of brushes (one row on either side of the belt), the white brushes are much softer that the normal brush roll. It is also used on cut Berber carpet to keep the Kirby from hopping or jumping. This brush will gently sweep the carpet, but it will not create as much vibration as the standard brush roll. I have not had any personal experience using this Brush Roll (I never have owned Persian Rugs or Berber Carpet), thus I may not be able to answer many questions. I have received very good feedback from customers who have used this. This Brush Roll does have ball bearings. To keep the weight down on this part I package it in a strong Dupont Tyvek envelope. The default shipping option is First Class, if your need if faster you may select Priority. Because the weight of this part is at the First Class limit any additional purchase will require Priority shipping, you may wish to request an invoice after making those additional purchases.
