Description: Handmade. New. Abigail model. This Bouffant style hat is Made in the USA of pre-washed and machine dried fabric in a smoke and pet free environment. This is a one-size cap. The hat has elastic in the back (underneath) to fit a range of head sizes. Band measurement is 23.5 inches (without stretching the elastic). Band can stretch up to 33.5 inches. The body of the hat (crown and sides) is pleated and will lay flat or pouf according to how you want to wear it. The front band is interfaced and top-stitched. Every Abigail hat is made from the same pattern and is the same size regardless of how the photographs appear. All seams are completely finished with no hanging threads. My personal philosophy is to upcycle, reuse, and use up materials. The caps I make are constructed from 100% cotton, and most of the fabric is either upcycled from men’s shirts or excess fabric from dressmaking, quilting, and theater costuming projects. All fabric is machine washed and dried and examined for wear before use. Some hats (or portions of hats) may be made of licensed fabric; however, the hats are not a licensed product.
